रुद्राविर्भावकारणम् — Causes and Pattern of Rudra’s Manifestation

ततः प्रभृति देवो ऽसौ न प्रसूते प्रजाः शुभाः । ऊर्ध्वरेताः स्थितः स्थाणुर्यावदाभूतसंप्लवम्
tataḥ prabhṛti devo 'sau na prasūte prajāḥ śubhāḥ | ūrdhvaretāḥ sthitaḥ sthāṇuryāvadābhūtasaṃplavam
അന്നുമുതൽ ആ ദേവൻ ശുഭപ്രജയെ ഇനി പ്രസവിച്ചില്ല; സ്ഥാണുവിനെപ്പോലെ അചലനായി, ഊർദ്ധ്വരേതസ്സായി (യോഗസംയമത്തിൽ ശക്തി ഉന്നതമാക്കി), ഭൂതസമ്പ്ലവ പ്രളയം വരെയും നിലകൊണ്ടു.
