na dṛṣṭvā svavaraṃ tatra trastāsīnmanasepsitam | aṃtassabhāsthitā kasminnarpayāmāsa na srajam

Translation

അവിടെ തന്റെ ഹൃദയം ആഗ്രഹിച്ച സ്വയംവരനെ കാണാതിരുന്നതിനാൽ അവൾ ഭീതിയായി. സഭാമണ്ഡപത്തിനുള്ളിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് അവൾ ആരുടെയും കഴുത്തിൽ മാല അർപ്പിക്കാനായില്ല.
