Sūta Gosvāmin
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Models the Siddhānta principle that Śiva’s anugraha (grace) responds to stuti/bhakti and can fructify as iṣṭa-siddhi (desired attainments), ultimately orienting the soul toward liberation.
Type: stotra
Offering: pushpa
It teaches that Śiva, the compassionate Pati (Lord), responds to sincere bhakti expressed through stuti; His grace can fulfill righteous desires and also guide the devotee toward higher good.
The verse reflects Saguna worship: devotees approach Śiva through praise and devotion, and the Lord personally bestows grace—an attitude central to Liṅga-upāsanā where heartfelt stotra and surrender are primary.
Regular stotra-pāṭha (hymn recitation) with devotion—ideally alongside pañcākṣarī japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya")—is implied as a direct means to please Śiva and receive His anugraha (grace).
