It teaches that sincere, auspicious offerings in Shiva-oriented worship sanctify the home and align household life with dharma, so that prosperity supports devotion rather than becoming a bondage.
In Saguna Shiva worship, the Linga is honored with upacāras such as flowers; the verse highlights that specific floral offerings, made with bhakti, are accepted and yield orderly worldly well-being while nurturing reverence for Shiva.
Offer fresh, pure flowers (such as yūthikā and karṇikāra) in Shiva-pūjā with mantra—especially the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and maintain inner purity so the offering becomes a vehicle for devotion.
