sthāpayedvidhinā rudraṃ gaṃdhacaṃdanavāriṇā | pañcāgavyavidhānena gṛhyapātre'bhimaṃtrya ca

Translation

സുഗന്ധവും ചന്ദനവും കലർന്ന ജലത്തോടെ വിധിപൂർവം രുദ്രനെ സ്ഥാപിക്കണം. പഞ്ചഗവ്യം ഒരുക്കി, യോഗ്യമായ പാത്രത്തിൽ വെച്ച് മന്ത്രത്തോടെ അഭിമന്ത്രണം ചെയ്യണം.
