It proclaims the salvific power of Devi’s direct darśana: seeing Śivā (the Goddess united with Śiva) purifies the devotee and becomes a sure cause for mokṣa, because she illumines the path from limited knowing to liberating wisdom.
In Shaiva practice, Saguna worship includes reverence to Śiva together with Śakti. This verse supports the integrated devotion where the devotee approaches the Supreme through manifest forms—Devi as Śivā—whose grace awakens vidyā leading to liberation, complementing Liṅga-upāsanā.
The verse emphasizes darśana and contemplative remembrance of Devi’s auspicious form; a practical takeaway is daily Śiva-Śakti pūjā with focused meditation (dhyāna) on the divine form, supported by mantra-japa such as the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to cultivate vidyā.
