शिवशिवयोर्जगत्पितृमातृत्व-प्रतिपादनं तथा मेनायाः विमोहः (Śiva–Śivā as Cosmic Father and Mother; Menā’s Delusion and the Sages’ Intervention)
हिमालय उवाच । सप्तर्षयो महाभागा भवद्भिर्यदुदीरितम् । तत्प्रमाणीकृतं मे हि पुरैव गिरिशेच्छया

ഹിമാലയം പറഞ്ഞു— മഹാഭാഗ്യശാലികളായ സപ്തർഷിമാരേ! നിങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചരിച്ചതെല്ലാം ഞാൻ ഗിരീശൻ (ഭഗവാൻ ശിവൻ)ന്റെ ഇച്ഛാനുസാരമായി വളരെ മുമ്പേ തന്നെ പ്രമാണമായി അംഗീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു।

Sthala Purana: Himālaya acknowledges that the sages’ counsel matches what he had already accepted ‘by Girīśa’s wish’—a narrative of divine will guiding human assent, not a site-specific liṅga origin.
Significance: Teaches alignment with īśvara-icchā: the devotee’s decisions become ‘pramāṇa’ when harmonized with Śiva’s will, reducing egoic resistance (a form of tirodhāna being lifted through consent).
The verse highlights pramāṇa (right spiritual authority): Himālaya affirms that the sages’ counsel is valid because it aligns with Girīśa (Śiva)’s will, teaching that true understanding matures through harmony with the Lord’s intention and realized guidance.
By naming Girīśa and submitting to His icchā (divine will), the verse reflects Saguna devotion—accepting Śiva as the personal Lord who guides events and dharma; such surrender is foundational to Linga-centered worship where Śiva is approached as the living, responsive Pati.
