FAQs

The verse identifies Devī (Pārvatī) as the living form of Dharma and the Vedas, affirming the Shaiva view that Shiva’s grace and Shakti’s wisdom together sustain cosmic order and lead the soul toward liberation.

In Saguna worship, the Linga is revered with Śiva-Śakti unity; calling Pārvatī the ‘Trayī’ and ‘Dharma-rūpiṇī’ teaches that right worship is not only ritual but alignment with Vedic dharma—devotion expressed as ordered, consecrated practice.

A practical takeaway is to pair Panchakshara japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with dhārmic conduct and Vedic-minded discipline—daily worship with purity, truthfulness, and restraint—so the mantra and life both reflect Dharma.
