brahmovāca | iti pṛṣṭā tadā tena sakhīṃ prairayatāmbikā | tanmukhenaiva tatsarvaṃ kathayāmāsa suvratā

The verse highlights how divine knowledge and sacred events are transmitted through proper channels—Ambikā (Pārvatī) directs her companion to speak, showing humility, order, and the sanctity of truthful narration (satya-kathā) within Shaiva tradition.
While the verse does not directly mention the Liṅga, it supports Saguna Shiva devotion by emphasizing kathā-śravaṇa (hearing sacred stories) as a key devotional limb that nourishes faith in Śiva’s manifest līlā and strengthens bhakti.
The implied practice is attentive listening and reverent recitation of Śiva–Pārvatī narratives (śravaṇa-kīrtana). A practical takeaway is to pair such listening with japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating steadiness and purity of intention.
