ഹേ അമൃത സോമാ! അമൃതത്തിന്റെ ധർമ്മപ്രകാരം നീ മർത്ത്യനുവേണ്ടി ആ മനോഹരമായ അമൃതരസം ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. സദാ ഒഴുകുന്ന ആ (സോമധാര) അവനു വാജം—ബലവും പോഷണവും—നേടിക്കൊടുക്കട്ടെ.
