നീ ജനിച്ചപ്പോൾ, ഹേ അപൂർവ്യ വീരാ, ഹേ മഘവൻ ഇന്ദ്രാ, വൃത്രഹത്യാർത്ഥം—വൃത്രനെ വധിക്കാനായി—അപ്പോൾ നീ പൃഥിവിയെ വിപുലമാക്കി; ദ്യൗവിനെയും (ആകാശത്തെയും) സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തി താങ്ങി.
