प्र सोमासः स्वाध्यः पवमानासो अक्रमुः । रयिं कृण्वन्ति चेतनम् ॥

prá sómāsaḥ svādhyàḥ pávamānāso akramuḥ | rayíṃ kṛṇvanti cétanam ||

പ്ര—മുന്നോട്ട് പുറപ്പെടുന്നു—സ്വാധ്യഃ, സ്വയംനിയന്ത്രിത സോമങ്ങൾ; പവമാനാസഃ, ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ, മുന്നേറുന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി ചേതന റയി—ജാഗ്രതയുള്ള സമൃദ്ധി, സത്തയെ ഉണർത്തുന്ന ധനം—സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു.
