पवस्व दक्षसाधनो देवेभ्यः पीतये हरे । मरुद्भ्यो वायवे मदः ॥

Transliteration

pávasva dakṣasā́dhano devébhyáḥ pītáye hare | marúdbhyo vāyáve mádaḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ സോമ, നീ ശുദ്ധനാകുക; ദക്ഷസാധന—വിവേകശക്തി സിദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനേ—ഹേ ഹരി (താമ്രവർണ്ണനേ), ദേവന്മാർ പാനം ചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി. മരു‍ത്തുകൾക്കും വായുവിന്നും നീ മദ (ആനന്ദോന്മാദം) ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ.
