अभि ते मधुना पयोऽथर्वाणो अशिश्रयुः । देवं देवाय देवयु ॥

Transliteration

abhí te mádhunā páyo átharvāṇo aśiśrayuḥ | deváṃ devā́ya deva-yú ||

Translation

മധുര മധുവാൽ മിശ്രിതമായ പയസ്സുമായി അഥർവണർ നിനക്കരികേ ആശ്രയിച്ചു ചേർന്നു. ദേവൻ ദേവനിലേക്കു—ദേവങ്ങളെ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവൻ (ദേവയു) അർപ്പിതനാകുന്നു.
