कदू न्वस्याकृतमिन्द्रस्यास्ति पौंस्यम् । केनो नु कं श्रोमतेन न शुश्रुवे जनुषः परि वृत्रहा ॥
Transliteration
kadū́ nv asyā́kṛtam índrasyā́sti páuṃsyam | kénō nu kaṃ śrómatena ná śuśruve jánuṣaḥ pári vṛtrahā́ ||
Translation
ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ ഏത് കൃത്യമാണ് പുരുഷത്വം—വീര്യം—അല്ലാത്തത്? ഏതു ശ്രവണത്താൽ ആരാണ് ജന്മം മുതൽ വൃത്രഹാ (ആവരണം-ഹന്താവ്)യെക്കുറിച്ച് കേൾക്കാതെ ഇരുന്നത്?—അവന്റെ കർമ്മങ്ങളാണ് ജാഗ്രതാശക്തിയുടെ പരമ്പര തന്നെ.
