वृकश्चिदस्य वारण उरामथिरा वयुनेषु भूषति । सेमं नः स्तोमं जुजुषाण आ गहीन्द्र प्र चित्रया धिया ॥
vṛ́kaś cid asya vāraṇá urā́mathirā́ vayúneṣu bhūṣati | sémam naḥ stómaṃ jujuṣāṇá ā́ gahī́ndra prá citráyā dhiyā́ ||
അവന്റെ വരുണസദൃശമായ രക്ഷകൻ—വൃകനെപ്പോലെ—വിശാലമായി കുലുക്കുന്ന ശക്തി, പ്രവർത്തികളുടെ ഉപായങ്ങളിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട്, ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഈ സ്തോമം സ്വീകരിച്ചു വരിക; മാർഗങ്ങളെ ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന പ്രകാശമയ ബുദ്ധിയായ ചിത്രവർണ ധിയയോടെ മുന്നോട്ട് വരിക.
