ईशिषे वार्यस्य हि दात्रस्याग्ने स्वर्पतिः । स्तोता स्यां तव शर्मणि ॥
Transliteration
ī́śiṣe vā́ryasya hí dātrásyāgne svàr-patiḥ | stótā syāṃ táva śármaṇi ||
Translation
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, നീ വാര്യമായ (ശ്രേഷ്ഠ) വരദാനങ്ങളുടെ അധിപൻ; കാരണം നീ ദാതാവാണ്, സ്വർലോകത്തിന്റെ സ്വാമി. നിന്റെ ശർമണിയിൽ—നിന്റെ ആശ്രയ-ശാന്തിയിൽ—ഞാൻ നിന്റെ സ്തോതാവായി ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.
