मा ते अमाजुरो यथा मूरास इन्द्र सख्ये त्वावतः । नि षदाम सचा सुते ॥
Transliteration
mā́ te amājúro yáthā mūrā́sa indra sakhyé tvā́vataḥ | ní ṣadāma sacā́ suté ||
Translation
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, നിന്നാൽ സംരക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവന്റെ സഖ്യതയിൽ അപക്വവും ഭ്രമിതവുമായ (വൃത്തികൾ) മൂഢബലങ്ങളായി നിന്നെ ആക്രമിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. നീ ഞങ്ങളുടെ അരികിൽ ഇരിക്കെ, പിഴിഞ്ഞ സോമത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ കൂടെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ—ശരിയായ സഖ്യതയിൽ സ്ഥിരരായി.
