वृकाय चिज्जसमानाय शक्तमुत श्रुतं शयवे हूयमाना । यावघ्न्यामपिन्वतमपो न स्तर्यं चिच्छक्त्यश्विना शचीभिः ॥

vṛ́kāya cid jásamānāya śaktam utá śrutáṃ śayáve hūyámānā | yā́v aghnyā́m ápinvatam apó ná staryáṃ cic chakty àśvinā śacī́bhiḥ ||

Translation

വൃകത്തിനും (കീറിപ്പറിക്കുന്ന ശക്തിക്കും) നിങ്ങൾ—വിഴുങ്ങപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നവനു—ശക്തിയായി നിന്നു; ആഹ്വാനിക്കപ്പെട്ട ശയവന്റെ വിളിയും നിങ്ങൾ കേട്ടു. അഘ്ന്യാ (അവധ്യ ഗോ)യെ നിങ്ങൾ പാലാൽ നിറച്ച്—വിടുതലപ്പെട്ട ജലങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ—ഹേ അശ്വിന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ശചീ (പ്രഭാവശക്തികൾ)കൊണ്ട് അസാധ്യമായി തോന്നിയതും സാധ്യമാക്കി.
