उत स्वराजो अदितिरदब्धस्य व्रतस्य ये । महो राजान ईशते ॥

utá svárājo áditiḥ ádabdhasya vratásya yé | mahó rājāna ī́śate ||

സ്വരാജ്ഞിയായ അദിതി—അദബ്ധ (അജേയ) വ്രതത്തിന്റെ വിശാലമായ സ്വതന്ത്രത—അതിൽ ആ മഹാരാജാക്കന്മാർ തങ്ങളുടെ അധിപത്യം നടത്തുന്നു.
