यो नो मरुतो अभि दुर्हृणायुस्तिरश्चित्तानि वसवो जिघांसति । द्रुहः पाशान्प्रति स मुचीष्ट तपिष्ठेन हन्मना हन्तना तम् ॥

Transliteration

yó no maruto abhí durhṛṇāyús tiráś cittā́ni vasavo jíghāṃsati | drúhaḥ pāśā́n práti sá mucīṣṭa tápiṣṭhena hánmanā hantana tám ||

Translation

ഹേ മരുതുകളേ, ഹേ വസുക്കളേ, വക്രവും വൈരവുമുള്ള മനസ്സോടെ ഞങ്ങളെ ഘാതിക്കാനും നമ്മുടെ അന്തർചിത്തങ്ങളെ മറിച്ചിടാനും ആരെങ്കിലും ശ്രമിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ—അവനെ ദ്രുഹ (വഞ്ചന)യുടെ പാശങ്ങളിൽ വീണ്ടും ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുവിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഏറ്റവും ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പ്രഹാര-ബലത്തോടെ അവനെയേ പ്രഹരിക്കുവിൻ.
