Sukta 7.38
अपि ष्टुतः सविता देवो अस्तु यमा चिद्विश्वे वसवो गृणन्ति । स नः स्तोमान्नमस्यश्चनो धाद्विश्वेभिः पातु पायुभिर्नि सूरीन् ॥
ápi stu̱táḥ savitā́ devó astu yám ā́ cid víśve vásavo gṛṇánti | sá naḥ stómān namasyáś canó dhād víśvebhiḥ pātu pāyúbhir ní sūrī́n ||
സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെട്ട സവിതൃ ദേവൻ നിശ്ചയമായും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കട്ടെ—അവനെ സർവ്വ വസുക്കളും പോലും പാടുന്നു. അവൻ ഞങ്ങളുടെ സ്തോത്രങ്ങളെയും നമസ്കാര-കർമ്മങ്ങളെയും സ്ഥാപിക്കട്ടെ; തന്റെ എല്ലാ രക്ഷാകവചങ്ങളോടും കൂടി ഞങ്ങളുടെ സൂരിമാരെ (പ്രകാശിത നേതാക്കൾ/സാധകർ) കാത്തുരക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ.
