आ यातं मित्रावरुणा सुशस्त्युप प्रिया नमसा हूयमाना । सं यावप्नःस्थो अपसेव जनाञ्छ्रुधीयतश्चिद्यतथो महित्वा ॥
ā́ yātam mitrāvaruṇā suśásty úpa priyā́ námasā hūyámānā | sáṃ yā́v apnáḥ-stho apásāiva jánāñ chrudhīyátas cíd yatatho mahitvā́ ||
ഹേ മിത്ര-വരുണന്മാരേ, സുശസ്തി—ശ്രേഷ്ഠസ്തുതി—യിലേക്കു വരുവിൻ; പ്രിയമായതിനായി നമസ്കാരത്തോടെ വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന നിങ്ങളിരുവരും വരുവിൻ. കര്മസിദ്ധിയില് നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന നിങ്ങള്, ഫലപ്രദമായ പ്രവര്ത്തിപോലെ, ജനങ്ങളെ ഒന്നിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ മഹിമയാല് താഴെയிருந்து വിളിക്കുന്നവരെയും നിങ്ങള് കേള്ക്കുന്നു.
