विश्वेषां वः सतां ज्येष्ठतमा गीर्भिर्मित्रावरुणा वावृधध्यै । सं या रश्मेव यमतुर्यमिष्ठा द्वा जनाँ असमा बाहुभिः स्वैः ॥

Transliteration

víśveṣāṃ vaḥ satā́ṃ jyéṣṭhatamā gīrbhír mitrā́varuṇā vāvṛdhádhyai | sáṃ yā́ raśméva yámatūr yámiṣṭhā dvā́ janā́ṃ ásamā bāhúbhiḥ sváiḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ മിത്ര-വരുണാ, സത്യവാന്മാരിൽ നിങ്ങളാണ് ജ്യേഷ്ഠതമർ; ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഗീർഭിഃ (പ്രേരിത സ്തുതിവചനങ്ങളാൽ) നിങ്ങളെ വാവൃധധ്യൈ—വർധിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ ഞങ്ങൾ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ ഇരുവരും, അസമാ (അനുപമർ), രശ്മി (ലഗാം) പോലെ ജനങ്ങളെ യമഥുഃ—ഒരുമിപ്പിച്ച് പിടിച്ചുനിർത്തുന്നു, നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്വൈഃ ബാഹുഭിഃ—നിങ്ങളുടെ തന്നെ മഹാബാഹുക്കളാൽ.
