यद्रोदसी प्रदिवो अस्ति भूमा हेळो देवानामुत मर्त्यत्रा । तदादित्या वसवो रुद्रियासो रक्षोयुजे तपुरघं दधात ॥

Transliteration

yád rodasī pradívo ásti bhū́mā héḷo devā́nām utá martyá-trā́ | tád ādityā́ vasavo rudriyā́so rakṣo-yúje tápur agháṃ dadhāta ||

Translation

ഇരുലോകങ്ങളിലും പരമ ദിവത്തിലും വ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഏതു കോപമോ കഠിനതയോ—ദേവന്മാരിൽ ആയാലും ഇവിടെ മർത്ത്യഭൂമിയിൽ ആയാലും—അപ്പോൾ ആദിത്യർ, വസുക്കൾ, രുദ്രിയർ അന്ധകാരത്തെ യോജിപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ (രക്ഷോയുജ) എതിരായി, പാപവും അഘവും (ഹാനി) ദൂരെയാക്കുന്ന ദഹനശക്തിയെ സ്ഥാപിക്കട്ടെ.
