उत द्यावापृथिवी क्षत्रमुरु बृहद्रोदसी शरणं सुषुम्ने । महस्करथो वरिवो यथा नोऽस्मे क्षयाय धिषणे अनेहः ॥

utá dyāvāpṛthivī́ kṣatrám urú bṛhád rodasī́ śáraṇaṃ suṣúmne | mahás karatho várivo yáthā no 'smé kṣáyāya dhiṣaṇe anéhaḥ ||

ദ്യാവാ-പൃഥിവീ—ആ രണ്ടു വിശാലികൾ—ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി വിശാലവും മഹത്തുമായ ക്ഷത്രമായി, സുസുമ്ന ശരണമായി മാറട്ടെ. ഹേ രണ്ടു ധിഷണേ, ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി മഹത്തായ വരിവോ ഒരുക്കുക; ഇവിടെ ഞങ്ങളിലൊരു വാസം ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ—അനേഹ, ക്ഷയമില്ലാത്തത്, കുറവില്ലാത്തത്.
