दिवो न यस्य विधतो नवीनोद्वृषा रुक्ष ओषधीषु नूनोत् । घृणा न यो ध्रजसा पत्मना यन्ना रोदसी वसुना दं सुपत्नी ॥

Transliteration

divó na yásya vidható navī́not vṛ́ṣā rukṣá oṣádhīṣu nūnot | ghṛṇā́ na yó dhrajásā pátmanā yánn ā́ rodasī vásunā dám su-pátnī ||

Translation

ആരുടെ നിത്യ-നവീനത സേവകനെയെ (വിധാതാവിനെ) ദിവംപോലെ പുതുക്കുന്നു; ആ പ്രകാശമുള്ള വൃഷഭൻ (അഗ്നി) തന്റെ ബലം ഔഷധികളിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ഉഷ്ണകാന്തിപോലെ, ധ്രജസാ (ദഹിക്കുന്ന ജ്വാല)യും പത്മൻ (വേഗം)യും കൊണ്ട് അവൻ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു; വസു (സമൃദ്ധി)യോടെ ആ രണ്ടു രോദസീ (ദിവ്–പൃഥ്വി)കളിലേക്കു, സുപത്നീ—സുസംയുക്ത ദ്വയമായി, ഗൃഹത്തിലേക്കെന്നപോലെ വരുന്നു.
