Transliteration
tváṃ naḥ pāhy áṃhaso jā́tavedo aghāyató | rákṣā no brahmaṇaskave ||
Translation
ഹേ ജാതവേദസ്, ഞങ്ങളെ അംഹസ് (ക്ലേശവും ദോഷവും) മുതൽ, ദുഷ്ടം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവനിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷിക്ക; ഹേ ബ്രഹ്മണസ്കവ (പവിത്ര വാക്കിന്റെ കവി), ഞങ്ങളെ കാത്തുകൊൾക.
