Sukta 5.9
अध स्म यस्यार्चयः सम्यक्संयन्ति धूमिनः । यदीमह त्रितो दिव्युप ध्मातेव धमति शिशीते ध्मातरी यथा ॥
adha sma yasyārcayaḥ samyak saṁ-yanti dhūminaḥ | yad īmahe trito divy upa dhmātā iva dhamati śiśīte dhmātari yathā ||
അപ്പോൾ സത്യമായും, ആരുടെ പുകമൂടിയ ജ്വാലകൾ ശരിയായ ക്രമത്തിൽ ഒന്നിച്ചു ചേരുന്നുവോ—നാം അവനെ അന്വേഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ—ദിവ്യലോകത്തിലെ ത്രിതൻ ധമണക്കാരനെപ്പോലെ അവനിൽ ഊതുന്നു; ഊതിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ മിനുക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവൻ മൂർച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുകയും പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. (അർത്ഥം) അന്തർഅഗ്നി ഉയർന്ന പ്രേരണയാൽ കൂടുതൽ തീവ്രമാകുന്നു.
