य ऋष्वा ऋष्टिविद्युतः कवयः सन्ति वेधसः । तमृषे मारुतं गणं नमस्या रमया गिरा ॥

Transliteration

ya ṛ́ṣvā ṛ́ṣṭi-vidyutaḥ kaváyaḥ sánti védhasaḥ | tám ṛṣe mārútam gáṇaṃ namasyā́ ramáyā girā́ ||

Translation

ഉന്നതരായും ഋഷ്ടി-വിദ്യുത് (കുന്തംപോലെ മിന്നുന്നവരായും), കവയഃ (ദർശികൾ)യും വേധസഃ (ജ്ഞാനവിധാതാക്കൾ)യും ആയവർ—ഹേ ഋഷേ, ആ മാരുതഗണത്തെ നമസ്കരിക്ക; ഹർഷഭരിതമായ ഗിരാ (വാണി)കൊണ്ട് അവരെ രമിപ്പിക്ക.
