Sukta 5.46
उत त्यन्नो मारुतं शर्ध आ गमद्दिविक्षयं यजतं बर्हिरासदे । बृहस्पतिः शर्म पूषोत नो यमद्वरूथ्यं वरुणो मित्रो अर्यमा ॥
utá tyán no mārutáṃ śárdha ā́ gamad divi-kṣayáṃ yájatam bárhir ā́-sáde | bṛ́haspátiḥ śárma pūṣót no yámad varū́thyaṃ váruṇo mitró aryamā́ ||
അതിനൊപ്പം, ദിവിക്ഷയ (പ്രകാശമയ ഉയരങ്ങളിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന) മരുതുകളുടെ ആ ശർധം ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു വരട്ടെ; യജ്ഞാർഹം, ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹവിസ്സിന് യോഗ്യം, ബർഹി (പവിത്രാസനം) മേൽ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ. ബൃഹസ്പതി ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ശർമ (ശാന്തി-ആശ്രയം) നൽകട്ടെ; പൂഷനും ഞങ്ങളെ വഴിയിൽ നയിക്കട്ടെ; വരുണൻ, മിത്രൻ, അര്യമൻ—ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് വറൂഥ്യ (രക്ഷാകരമായ) വിശാലതയും, യാത്രയ്ക്കുള്ള ഉറച്ച അഭയവും നൽകട്ടെ.
