प्र पस्त्यामदितिं सिन्धुमर्कैः स्वस्तिमीळे सख्याय देवीम् । उभे यथा नो अहनी निपात उषासानक्ता करतामदब्धे ॥
pra pastyām aditiṃ sindhum arkaiḥ svastim īḷe sakhyāya devīm | ubhe yathā no ahanī ni-pāta uṣasā-naktā karatām adabdhe ||
ഗൃഹത്തിൽ സ്തുതി-മന്ത്രങ്ങളാൽ ഞാൻ അദിതിയെയും സിന്ധുവിനെയും ഉയർത്തുന്നു; സ്വസ്തിക്കും സഖ്യതയ്ക്കുമായി ആ ദേവിയെ ഞാൻ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു—ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഇരുദിനങ്ങളും അവരവരുടെ ഇറങ്ങിവരുന്ന സമയത്ത്, ഉഷസ്സും നക്തയും (രാത്രി), അദബ്ധേ (വഞ്ചനയില്ലാത്തവൾ) ആയി, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് യഥോചിതമായ നില സൃഷ്ടിക്കട്ടെ.
