अस्थुरु चित्रा उषसः पुरस्तान्मिता इव स्वरवोऽध्वरेषु । व्यू व्रजस्य तमसो द्वारोच्छन्तीरव्रञ्छुचयः पावकाः ॥

Transliteration

ásthur u citrā́ uṣásaḥ purástān mitā́ iva sváravo 'dhvaréṣu | vy ū́ vrajásya támaso dvā́ro ucchántīr avran śúcayaḥ pāvakā́ḥ ||

Translation

ചിത്രവർണ്ണമായ ഉഷസ്സുകൾ മുൻവശത്ത് നിലകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു—യാഗങ്ങളിൽ അളന്ന സ്വരങ്ങൾപോലെ. ഉദിച്ച് അവർ വ്രജമായ തമസ്സിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ വിശാലമായി തുറക്കുന്നു; ശുചിയും പാവകവുമായ പ്രകാശത്തോടെ പാതയെ നിർമ്മലമാക്കുന്നു.
