Sukta 4.45
मध्वः पिबतं मधुपेभिरासभिरुत प्रियं मधुने युञ्जाथां रथम् । आ वर्तनिं मधुना जिन्वथस्पथो दृतिं वहेथे मधुमन्तमश्विना ॥
mádhvaḥ pibataṁ madhu-pébhir ā́sa-bhir utá priyáṁ mádhune yuñjāthāṁ rátham | ā́ vartaníṁ mádhunā jinvathas pathó dṛ́tiṁ vahethe mádhu-mantam aśvinā ||
മധു പാനം ചെയ്യുവിൻ—മധുപേയ ആസന (മുഖങ്ങൾ)കൊണ്ട്; പ്രിയ മധുവിനായി രഥം യോജിപ്പിൻ. മധുവാൽ നിങ്ങൾ പഥങ്ങളുടെ വർതനി (തിരിവുള്ള പാത)യെ ഉണർത്തുന്നു; ഹേ അശ്വിനൗ, നിങ്ങൾ മധുമയ ദൃതി (ചർമച്ചാക്ക്) വഹിക്കുന്നു.
