अस्माकमुत्तमं कृधि श्रवो देवेषु सूर्य । वर्षिष्ठं द्यामिवोपरि ॥

Transliteration

asmā́kam uttamáṃ kṛdhi śrávo devéṣu sūrya | várṣiṣṭhaṃ dyā́m ivópari ||

Translation

ഹേ സൂര്യ, ദേവന്മാരിൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശ്രവസ്സിനെ (കീർത്തിയെ) പരമോന്നതമാക്കേണമേ; അതിനെ അത്യധികമായി വർഷിപ്പിക്കേണമേ—മുകളിലെ ദ്യൗസ്സിന്റെ ഉയരങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് പോലെ.
