Sukta 4.11
त्वदग्ने काव्या त्वन्मनीषास्त्वदुक्था जायन्ते राध्यानि । त्वदेति द्रविणं वीरपेशा इत्थाधिये दाशुषे मर्त्याय ॥
tvád agne kā́vyā tván manīṣā́s tvád ukthā́ jāyante rā́dhyāni | tvád eti dráviṇaṃ vīrápeśā itthā́dhiye dāśúṣe mártyāya ||
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, നിന്നിൽ നിന്നാണ് കാവ്യാ (കവിശക്തികൾ) വരുന്നത്; നിന്നിൽ നിന്നാണ് മണീഷാ (പ്രേരിത അന്തർദർശനം) വരുന്നത്; നിന്നിൽ നിന്നാണ് ഉക്ഥാ (സ്തുതി-വചനങ്ങൾ) ജനിക്കുന്നത്—അവ റാധ്യാനി (സിദ്ധി നൽകുന്ന ഫലങ്ങൾ) സാധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. നിന്നിൽ നിന്നാണ് വീരപേശാ (വീരഘടനയുള്ള) ദ്രവിണം (സമ്പത്ത്) വരുന്നത്; ഇങ്ങനെ യജ്ഞത്തിൽ ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന മർത്ത്യനു പ്രവർത്തിക്കാനുള്ള യുക്തമായ അധി (ബോധം/ബുദ്ധി) നീ നൽകുന്നു.
