स जायत प्रथमः पस्त्यासु महो बुध्ने रजसो अस्य योनौ । अपादशीर्षा गुहमानो अन्तायोयुवानो वृषभस्य नीळे ॥

Transliteration

sa jā́yata prathamáḥ pastyā̀su mahó budhné rájasaḥ asyá yónau | apā́d aśī́rṣā guhá māno antā́ ā́yoyúvāno vṛṣabhásya nīḷé ||

Translation

അവൻ ആദ്യം ജനിക്കുന്നു വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ—മധ്യലോകത്തിന്റെ മഹത്തായ അടിത്തറയിൽ, പ്രകാശമുള്ള രജസ്സിന്റെ ഈ ഗർഭത്തിൽ. കാലില്ലാത്തവൻ, ശിരസ്സില്ലാത്തവൻ, അകത്തെ ഗുഹ്യത്തിൽ ഒളിഞ്ഞ്; വൃഷഭ (മഹാശക്തി)യുടെ സ്ഥിരനീളിൽ നിത്യയൗവനത്തോടെ വളരുന്നു.
