ससृवांसमिव त्मनाग्निमित्था तिरोहितम् । ऐनं नयन्मातरिश्वा परावतो देवेभ्यो मथितं परि ॥
Transliteration
sasṛvā́ṃsam iva tmánāgním itthā́ tiróhitaṃ | áinaṃ nayan mātáriśvā parāváto devébhyo mathitáṃ pári ||
Translation
സ്വഭാവത്താൽ ഒഴുകുന്നവനെപ്പോലെ—അഗ്നി അങ്ങനെ മറഞ്ഞുകിടന്നു. മാതരിശ്വൻ അവനെ പരാവത്—ദൂരത്തിൻ അപ്പുറത്തിൽ നിന്ന്—ദേവന്മാർക്കായി മഥിച്ച് പുറത്തെടുത്തു ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.
