तन्नस्तुरीपमध पोषयित्नु देव त्वष्टर्वि रराणः स्यस्व । यतो वीरः कर्मण्यः सुदक्षो युक्तग्रावा जायते देवकामः ॥
tán nas turī́pam ádha poṣayitnú deva tvaṣṭar ví rarā́ṇaḥ syasva | yáto vīráḥ karmaṇyàḥ su-dákṣo yuktá-grāvā jā́yate devá-kāmaḥ ||
ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി ആ തൂരീപ (വേഗം പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന) വർദ്ധന—ഹേ പോഷകനെ—പോഷിതമാകട്ടെ; ഹേ ദൈവ ത്വഷ്ടൃ, വിശാലാനന്ദത്തിൽ വ്യാപ്തനായി ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി നിലകൊള്ളുക. നിന്നിൽ നിന്നുതന്നെ കർമ്മയോഗ്യൻ, സുദക്ഷൻ, യുക്തഗ്രാവാ (പീഡനത്തിനായി ബന്ധിച്ച കല്ലുകളുള്ള) ദേവകാമൻ (ദേവങ്ങളെ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന) വീരൻ ജനിക്കുന്നു.
