शुष्मिन्तमं न ऊतये द्युम्निनं पाहि जागृविम् । इन्द्र सोमं शतक्रतो ॥

śuṣmíntamaṃ na ūtáye dyumnínaṃ pāhi jā́gṛvim | índra sómaṃ śatakrato ||

ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഊതിക്കായി ശൂഷ്മിന്തമ—അത്യന്തം ബലവാൻ, ദ്യുമ്നിന—പ്രകാശമയൻ, ജാഗൃവിം—ജാഗരിതനായ സോമത്തെ കാത്തുരക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; ഹേ ശതക്രതു ഇന്ദ്രാ, ജാഗരിതമായ ആനന്ദം ആത്മയാത്രയിൽ അക്ഷുണ്ണമായി നിലനില്ക്കുവാൻ.
