Transliteration
vārtrá-hatyāya śávase pṛtanā-ṣā́hyāya ca | índra tvā vartayāmasi ||
Translation
വൃത്രഹത്യയ്ക്കും, ശവസ് (ബലം) നിമിത്തവും, യുദ്ധങ്ങളിൽ വിജയം (പൃതനാഷാഹ്യ) നേടുവാനും—ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു, ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു തിരിക്കുന്നു।
