Sukta 2.27
तिस्रो भूमीर्धारयन्त्रीँरुत द्यून्त्रीणि व्रता विदथे अन्तरेषाम् । ऋतेनादित्या महि वो महित्वं तदर्यमन्वरुण मित्र चारु ॥
tísro bhū́mīr dhārayant rī́ṃr uta dyū́n trī́ṇi vratā́ vidáthe antár eṣām | ṛténa ādityā́ máhi vo mahitváṃ tád aryaman varuṇa mitra cā́ru ||
നിങ്ങൾ മൂന്നു ഭൂമികളെ ധരിക്കുന്നു; അതുപോലെ മൂന്നു പ്രകാശമയ ദ്യുക്കളെയും. നിങ്ങളുടെ വിദഥ (സഭ)യിൽ അവരുടെ ത്രിഗുണ വ്രതങ്ങൾ (നിയമങ്ങൾ) സ്ഥാപിതമാണ്. ഋതംകൊണ്ട്, ഹേ ആദിത്യന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ മഹത്വം മഹത്താണ്—ഹേ ആര്യമൻ, വരുണ, മിത്ര, ഇതു നിങ്ങളുടെ ചാരു (സുന്ദര) പ്രവർത്തിയാണ്.
