प्र रुद्रेण ययिना यन्ति सिन्धवस्तिरो महीमरमतिं दधन्विरे । येभिः परिज्मा परियन्नुरु ज्रयो वि रोरुवज्जठरे विश्वमुक्षते ॥
Transliteration
prá rudréṇa yayínā yánti síndhavas tiró mahī́m arámatim dadhanvire | yébhiḥ párijmā pariyánn urú jráyo ví róruruvaj jaṭháre víśvam ukṣáte ||
Translation
രുദ്രൻ എന്ന പ്രേരകന്റെ കൂടെ നദികൾ മുന്നോട്ട് ഒഴുകുന്നു; ഭൂമിയാകെ മഹത്തായ അരമതിയെ അവ ധരിക്കുന്നു. ആരോടൊപ്പം പരിഭ്രമിക്കുന്നവൻ (പരിജ്മാ) വിശാലമായ ചരിവുകളെ ചുറ്റി സഞ്ചരിച്ച്, ഗർജ്ജിച്ചു—തന്റെ ഗർഭത്തിനുള്ളിലെ എല്ലാം ജലത്തോടെ നനയ്ക്കുന്നു.
