गिरीँरज्रान्रेजमानाँ अधारयद्द्यौः क्रन्ददन्तरिक्षाणि कोपयत् । समीचीने धिषणे वि ष्कभायति वृष्णः पीत्वा मद उक्थानि शंसति ॥

Transliteration

girī́ṁr ajrā́n rejámānāṁ adhārayad dyáuḥ krándad antárikṣāṇi kopayat | samīcīné dhiṣáṇe ví ṣkabhāyati vṛ́ṣṇaḥ pītvā́ máda ukthā́ni śaṃsati ||

Translation

കുലുങ്ങുന്ന പർവ്വതങ്ങളെയും വിറയുന്ന ശിഖരങ്ങളെയും അവൻ താങ്ങി നിർത്തി; ദ്യൗഃ (ആകാശം) ഗർജിച്ചു, അന്തരിക്ഷപ്രദേശങ്ങൾ കലക്കത്തിലായി. സമീചീന ധിഷണേ—യുഗ്മ പ്രേരണാശക്തികളിൽ—അവൻ വിശാലവും ദൃഢവുമായ ആധാരം സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നു; വൃഷ്ണ (വൃഷഭൻ), മദ (ഉല്ലാസം) പാനം ചെയ്ത ശേഷം, ഉക്ഥ (സ്തുതി-വചനം)കളായ സ്തോത്രങ്ങളെ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു.
