Sukta 10.43
बृहस्पतिर्नः परि पातु पश्चादुतोत्तरस्मादधरादघायोः । इन्द्रः पुरस्तादुत मध्यतो नः सखा सखिभ्यो वरिवः कृणोतु ॥
bṛ́haspátir naḥ pári pātu paścā́d utóttarasmād ádharād aghāyóḥ | índraḥ purástād utá madhyató naḥ sákhā sákhibhyo váṛivaḥ kṛṇotu ||
ബൃഹസ്പതി ഞങ്ങളെ എല്ലാടും കാത്തുകൊള്ളട്ടെ—പിന്നിൽ നിന്നുമ്, മുകളിൽ നിന്നുമ്, താഴെ നിന്നുമ്—ദോഷം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ദുഷ്ടശക്തികളിൽ നിന്ന്. ഇന്ദ്രൻ മുന്നിലും മദ്ധ്യത്തിലുമ് നമ്മുടെ സഖാവായി, തന്റെ സഖാക്കൾക്കായി വിശാലാവകാശവും നിർഭയമായ വഴിയും ഒരുക്കട്ടെ.
