Sukta 10.29
व्यानळिन्द्रः पृतनाः स्वोजा आस्मै यतन्ते सख्याय पूर्वीः । आ स्मा रथं न पृतनासु तिष्ठ यं भद्रया सुमत्या चोदयासे ॥
vyā́naḷ indráḥ pṛ́tanāḥ svójā ā́ asmai yatante sakhyā́ya pūrvī́ḥ | ā́ smā ráthaṃ ná pṛ́tanāsu tiṣṭha yáṃ bhadráyā sumatyā́ codáyāse ||
ഇന്ദ്രൻ തന്റെ സ്വന്തം ഓജസ്സാൽ യുദ്ധങ്ങളെ വ്യാപിപ്പിച്ചു; അനവധി പുരാതന ശക്തികൾ സഖ്യതയ്ക്കായി അവനിലേക്കു ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു. യുദ്ധങ്ങളുടെ നടുവിൽ രഥംപോലെ ഇവിടെ നിലകൊൾ—ഭദ്രമായ, പ്രകാശമുള്ള സുമതിയാൽ നീ മുന്നോട്ടു പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അവനെ.
