हृदिस्पृशस्त आसते विश्वेषु सोम धामसु । अधा कामा इमे मम वि वो मदे वि तिष्ठन्ते वसूयवो विवक्षसे ॥
Transliteration
hṛdi-spṛ́śas te āsate víśveṣu soma dhā́masu | ádhā kā́mā imé máma ví vo máde ví tiṣṭhante vasū-yávo vívakṣase ||
Translation
ഹേ സോമ, ഹൃദയത്തെ സ്പർശിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ സ്പർശങ്ങൾ എല്ലാ ധാമങ്ങളിലും വസിക്കുന്നു. പിന്നെ, നിന്റെ മദത്തിൽ, എന്റെ ഈ കാമങ്ങൾ വിശാലമായി ജാഗ്രതയോടെ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു—വസു എന്ന സത്യസമ്പത്ത് തേടുന്നവയായി—നീ അവയുടെ വർദ്ധനയെ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ.
