अन्तरिक्षे पथिभिरीयमानो न नि विशते कतमच्चनाहः । अपां सखा प्रथमजा ऋतावा क्व स्विज्जातः कुत आ बभूव ॥
Transliteration
antárikṣe pathíbhir ī́yamāno ná ní viśate katamáccanáh | apā́ṁ sákhā prathamajā́ ṛtā́vā kvà svíj jā́taḥ kúta ā́ babhūva ||
Translation
അന്തരിക്ഷത്തിലെ പഥങ്ങളിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന അവൻ ഒരു ദിവസവും എവിടെയും വിശ്രമിക്കുന്നില്ല. അപാം സഖാ, പ്രഥമജ, ഋതാവാൻ—ഋതത്തിന്റെ പാലകൻ—അവൻ സത്യത്തിൽ എവിടെ ജനിച്ചു? എവിടെ നിന്നാണ് അവൻ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചത്?
