Sukta 10.147
ऐषु चाकन्धि पुरुहूत सूरिषु वृधासो ये मघवन्नानशुर्मघम् । अर्चन्ति तोके तनये परिष्टिषु मेधसाता वाजिनमह्रये धने ॥
ā́ eṣú cākandhi puru-hūta sū́riṣu vṛdhā́so yé maghavan ānaśúr mágham | árcanti tókē tánaye páriṣṭiṣu medhā-sā́tā vā́jinam áhṛye dháne ||
ഹേ പുരുഹൂത മഘവൻ, ഈ ഉദാര ദാതാക്കളിൽ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ ഇരിക്കേണമേ—നിന്റെ ദാനവിസ്താരം പ്രാപിച്ച വൃദ്ധാസർ. അവർ തോക-തനയത്തിൽ, വംശത്തിൽ, ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പരിരക്ഷകളിൽ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു; മേധസാ-ജയികൾ അവർ അഹ്രയ—പിടിക്കാനാകാത്ത ധനത്തിനായി വാജിൻ—ബലത്തിന്റെ പൂർണ്ണത—ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
