पुराणाँ अनुवेनन्तं चरन्तं पापयामुया । असूयन्नभ्यचाकशं तस्मा अस्पृहयं पुनः ॥
Transliteration
purāṇā́ṃ anu-vénantaṃ cárantaṃ pā́payā amuyā́ | asū́yann abhy-àcākaśaṃ tásmā aspṛhayaṃ púnaḥ ||
Translation
പുരാതനരുടെ പാതയിൽ ആനന്ദിച്ച് സഞ്ചരിച്ച അവനെ ഒരു വക്രശക്തി ആക്രമിച്ചു; അസൂയയോടെ ശത്രുദൃഷ്ടി എറിഞ്ഞു. എങ്കിലും ആ (സത്യപഥം) തന്നെയിലേക്ക് ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു—ഇരുട്ടിന്റെ അസൂയയെ അതിക്രമിച്ച് ശരിയായ ഇച്ഛയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങി.
